- “Services” refers to Non-Emergency Patient Transport, including High Acuity Transport Service (HATS), Low & Medium Stretcher Transport, Wheelchair Transport, Sedan Transport, and Event Standby.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using our services, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old or are legally authorised by a guardian.
- Understand that our services are non-emergency and do not replace ambulance or emergency medical services.
Have provided accurate and complete information regarding patient needs at the time of booking.
3. Scope of Services
NurseLink Healthcare provides non-emergency patient transport designed for safe, comfortable, and reliable transfers within Melton and surrounding areas. Our services include:
- High Acuity Transport Service (HATS) – for patients with complex medical needs requiring advanced monitoring.
- Low & Medium Stretcher Transport – safe transfers for patients needing stretcher support.
- Wheelchair Transport – comfortable travel for patients with mobility limitations.
- Sedan Transport – reliable transfers for patients attending medical appointments.
- Event Standby – on-site medical standby services for public or private events.
Our services are not a substitute for emergency ambulance transport. In case of a medical emergency, clients must call 000 immediately.
4. Bookings and Appointments
- All bookings must be made in advance via phone, email, or our online appointment form.
- Clients must provide accurate details of the patient’s medical condition, mobility level, and special requirements.
- NurseLink Healthcare reserves the right to refuse service if information is incomplete, inaccurate, or if the patient requires emergency-level care.
- Confirmation of booking will be sent by email or phone once accepted.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before transport may incur a cancellation fee.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
- NurseLink Healthcare reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to safety concerns, vehicle availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Client Responsibilities
By using our services, clients agree to:
- Ensure the patient is ready at the scheduled pickup time.
- Provide necessary documentation (discharge papers, appointment letters, etc.) when required.
- Inform our staff of any medical needs, allergies, or limitations in advance.
- Refrain from abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards our staff.
Accept that personal belongings transported with the patient remain the client’s responsibility.
7. NurseLink Healthcare Responsibilities
We commit to:
- Providing safe, timely, and reliable transport using well-maintained vehicles.
- Ensuring staff are professionally trained, compassionate, and respectful.
- Taking reasonable precautions to ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all patient information in line with privacy laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
- NurseLink Healthcare will not be liable for medical emergencies that occur during transport unless caused by proven negligence.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other events beyond our control.
- Clients acknowledge that services provided are non-emergency and accept the inherent limitations.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in dispute.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- Personal and medical information provided is used only for delivering our services.
- We do not sell or share client information with third parties unless required by law.

10. Insurance
